8HP Display Description
0.96” OLED display for the BMW 8HP transmission. The display connects to the CAN wires and reads the data stream from the transmission controller (and from the ECU in some cases). The display is programmable for CAN addresses and speeds.
These are configured for CANTCU at 500kbit. All of these settings can be changed by you after installation, if needed. If you’re not sure of the CAN speed, it is typically 500kbit for BMW ECU-based builds and most aftermarket ECUs.
Please note that this item is a simple display meant to be integrated into the dash, etc. If you need to mount it in a 52mm gauge pod or on the dash, you will need a bezel, which we sell separately.
